Hey there garlic fam! It's been a little hard for me to make this post. We're moving -or at least working on it- so I've been putting the energy I would have put into marketing/selling my garlic into that instead.
That's the short of it. The longer is that several years ago Tina gave me a great opportunity to test out selling my garlic at the market. Since then, working with Tina (until she left), and Tanya, and Sally, and everyone else at Pittsfield Township Farmers Market has given me a lot of good memories and experience. It's also where I met my market buddy- Randy. He's got the best honey, folks! I like the other vendors too, but come on. Garlic and honey just work well together.
I really need to thank Tanya and crew because they've always done a great job at the market being supportive, helping with logistics, etc. And that's a difficult thing to do when half the time it's super hot and people are cranky, and the other half it's raining and tents are blowing over and people are cranky. Right? ;) But really... Thank you.
At this point I'm still not sure what I'm doing with my garlic, which I tended and harvested like normal just in case- although I didn't clean it up the way you normally see in my pictures. (normal for me, anyway)
If/when I figure that out, whether it's limited direct sales, or maybe just doing some online sales through PFM, I will post here.
I love you all and appreciate the support and patronage over the years. Thanks for being great customers, and friends. Here's a pic of me and Stella back in July bringing in the last of the '24 harvest. Hope your summer was good and we can cruise into a cooler fall.
