Sometimes a side can steal the show. Our pit-smoked baked beans can do just that. These aren’t any old beans. We load them up with pulled pork and run them through our smokers. Thick, smoky, meaty - delicious. Have them with your next sandwich or order a pan for your next event.

Friday afternoon: USA 🇺🇸 v Australia 🇦🇺 at 3pm. Pull up a stool and watch two of the nations that call the beautiful game “soccer” battle it out. FYI - we’re watching all the matches at Slows. Drop-in anytime like a pick-up game.

Friday night: Ann Arbor Fun House presents: zudocks, bandwipeout, and addicus. $10 (cheap!) for great live music!

Saturday night: Artini Cocktail and Mocktail crawl supporting A2AC - Ann Arbor Art Center. Our first time joining this amazing event. Tickets and more info at the Ann Arbor Art Center website.

The Slows Brisket Enchilada Story
Way back in 2004, before Corktown opened, Chef Brian was in Texas with his brother doing research (aka eating tons of bbq). He happened upon a brisket quesadilla in one joint. Smokey brisket with gooey cheese in flour tortillas with a traditional tomato salsa. It was delicious.

Fast-forward a year and the Slows Brisket Enchilada appeared on the opening Corktown menu. Chef Brian’s take: Chopped brisket, grilled onion and smoked gouda wrapped in corn tortillas and topped with melted cheddar, Slows’ Spicy BBQ Sauce, and scallions. Over 20+ years they’ve been enjoyed by thousands and even featured on an episode of Man vs Food.

Start your meal with them, or have ‘em as your meal. At the restaurant or delivered to you. Heck, you can even order pans of them catered. Inspired by a trip to Texas and now a Slows classic. Buen provecho!

It’s graduation season - a time to celebrate milestone achievements in students’ lives. Congrats to all the graduates and thank you to the families that have trusted Slows to provide the food for your celebrations.

It’s also the end of the school year, and teachers - we want to thank you. Slows co-owners Brian and Terry Perrone’s father Joe was a high school teacher for decades. We know how special summer break is. We’re taking 15% off for local teachers, administrators and staff Mon - Fri this week.
