Spent some time out with the Fay family at Michigan Great Lakes Wagyu Genetics farm seeing firsthand where our Full Blood Akaushi program starts.

These cattle are born and raised right here in Michigan and stay on the family’s 100-acre farm from start to finish. Their feed is grown on the farm, they’re cared for every day, and they’re given roughly 36 months to mature naturally. No feedlot. No rushing the process.

Seeing the cattle, walking the farm and knowing the family behind the beef makes us even more excited to bring it to the butcher case at Sparrow.

From their farm in Stockbridge to our butcher block in Ann Arbor. It doesn’t get much more local than that.
