This is our idea of playing.

Flipping through Garnier-Thiebaut swatches, pulling Gien plates off the shelf, and seeing what happens when we put them together. Sometimes the obvious pairing is beautiful. Sometimes the unexpected one is even better.
Color, pattern, texture—there are so many ways to build a table, and no single right answer.

Hi, I’m Jenn! If you’re new here, welcome!

I’m the owner of Welcome Home, which means I’m the buyer, merchandiser, HR department, IT support, chief table-setter, and wearer of about a million other hats.
I believe beautiful things should be used in everyday life, good food doesn’t have to be complicated, and there’s almost always a reason to set the table. I love vegetables, steak tartare, beautiful tablecloths, and the ongoing pursuit of the perfect appetizer.

My taste tends to live somewhere between old and new: a little European, a little Eastern Shore, traditional without being stuffy, and always with some color and personality. I have a particular weakness for ducks, stags, native woodlands, great linens, things that get better with age, and anything that makes you want to invite people over.

Around here, you’ll find what I’m cooking, what I’m buying for the shops, tables I’m setting, things I think are worth knowing about, and probably a few opinions along the way.

Welcome Home is really about the pleasure of living well —not perfectly, just beautifully, generously, and in a way that feels like you.
