The latest effort to get beer and wine into Maryland grocery stores ... like in 47 other states!

Consumers could pay more for the convenience of buying beer and wine in grocery stores -- one of the amendments offered Monday by supporters of the bill, which faced hours of questioning in committee and faces a tough road to passage.
