Ever wished your favorite restaurant could come to your house?

Most people know personal chefs for meal prep…

But what surprises many Annapolis families is that I also create restaurant-quality fine dining experiences right in your own home.

Whether it’s:
✨ Date night without hiring a babysitter
✨ An anniversary
✨ Birthday dinner
✨ Entertaining friends
✨ Weekly meal prep so dinner is already handled

I bring everything—from menu planning and shopping to cooking and kitchen cleanup.

One week I might prepare healthy Mediterranean meals for a busy family…
The next, I’m serving herb-crusted rack of lamb with silky parmesan polenta for an intimate dinner party.

As the owner of Simply Prima, my goal is simple:
Help families spend less time stressing about food and more time enjoying each other around the table.

If you could wave a magic wand and have one meal cooked for your family this week, what would it be?

I’d love to hear your answers.

Fresh, seasonal, and packed with flavor.

Today’s lunch: Wild-caught salmon over crisp greens with fresh strawberries, toasted walnuts, and a light vinaigrette.

As a personal chef, I’m always looking for ways to combine nutrient-dense ingredients with vibrant seasonal produce. This salad delivers heart-healthy omega-3s, plenty of protein, and the fresh flavors of summer in every bite.

Healthy food should be beautiful, satisfying, and something you genuinely look forward to eating.

What would you add to your perfect summer salad?

Can we all agree that deciding what’s for dinner every night is its own full-time job?

Hi everyone! I’m Sylvia, a local mom of five and owner of Simply Prima, a personal chef service based right here in the Annapolis area.

For the past 12 years, my team and I have helped busy families enjoy fresh, customized meals without the stress of meal planning, shopping, and cooking. We work with families who are juggling careers, kids, food allergies, health concerns, aging parents, and all the demands of everyday life.

We provide in-home meal prep, special event services, family gatherings, vacation rental chef services, and retreats throughout the area. My favorite part of what I do is helping people create a little more time for themselves and their families.

Whether you ever need a personal chef or not, I’m happy to be a resource in this group. I love sharing meal ideas, gluten-free tips, allergy-friendly recipes, and practical ways to make weeknight dinners easier.

What’s your biggest challenge when it comes to feeding your family during the week?

And if you ever have questions about meal prep, special diets, personal chef services, retreats, or hosting events, feel free to send me a message. I’m always happy to help.
