What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received about your cooking?
Tonight was Dijon garlic herb pork tenderloin, roasted asparagus, wild rice, and a piece of leftover honey butter cornbread.
At the end of dinner, Chris looked up and said, “Keep this in the rotation.”
Then he followed it up with something that meant even more to me:
“Your dishes are just as good, if not better, than a restaurant.”
The funny thing is this wasn’t a complicated meal. A simple pork tenderloin, a few pantry seasonings, roasted asparagus, and wild rice.
It’s a reminder that homemade meals don’t have to be fancy to be memorable. Sometimes the meals that become family favorites are the ones made with simple ingredients, a little practice, and a lot of love.
What’s a meal that earned a permanent spot in your family’s dinner rotation?
