This is Debbie; I'm sharing this post from Mathew's meat market page. If you want more information please look at their page but here is what it said. Big truck expected today. Large shipment of these pies and this is the ONLY shipment so get them while they are available. These are coming from the supplier that has the big deals that Christian corner bought from. So this is a great deal!!!! I'm getting me some too. These shipments are physically HARD! I have done them and there is great energy and strength required and much anxiety to do these deliveries. Be patient and thankful as this is a lot of work. I might add it is very costly to get these shipments as they travel many miles! Thank you so much! People ask me how they are doing. The new owners are doing great. They work hard and are pulled between 3 locations. Their staff are working very hard as well. So often we forget to recognize the effort involved that has to happen to make things work. Perhaps today is a good day just to smile and say thanks. And enjoy the sweet deal!!

This is Debbie; someone told me last week they missed my post. I replied that I didn't have anything good to talk about so I'm m being quiet. I heard myself say that and I started looking for good things. This morning was too beautiful to pass up. I stopped working for a minute walked outside and looked up. This is what I saw. That's good. The heavens declare the goodness of God. I needed to be reminded.

This is Debbie: I haven't taken the time to post anything lately. Honestly I asked myself why would I post? I no longer post of great deals or awesome price specials because my work day no longer is food. David used to say he was just the wash boy and now I understand why. Scrubbing collars all day everyday, loading and unloading machines, working on machines that needed attention and then now keeping the special spots that need a special trick to remove, boxing wedding dresses, carrying heavy supplies well and so on. This year has been the hardest job I have ever tried to accomplish in my whole life. Then adding in the upkeep of my homeplace alone. Frankly I feel lost. I think people should post positive news not bad news or sad news so I have been pretty silent. This morning I awoke reminded about the cat video I posted many days ago telling me it would be lost if I didn't download it. Maybe I did it. I was talking about that with Donna Last night. I have asked God to NEVER LET ME FORGET that because HE DID THE IMPOSSIBLE. But doesn't He always? I felt alone and pretty desperate that day. Like does He really know how I feel or has HE overlooked my feelings? I have learned so much about grief that I really didn't want to know. So as I grieve I look over my shoulder and remember times when God over and over again had set the stage for my protection and my well being knowing in advance what was going to happen. Then he sent me proof He has it and I can trust Him somehow and someway it will be ok. IF I didn't know this I could not make it. So this morning my devotional started by asking what kind of bird are you? Some birds are flappers that flap their wings over and over and dart from place to place but no being able to flap for long periods of time. Others are gliders they look perhaps more graceful than the flappers and fly longer and catch the wind to glide longer but if more wind does not come will fall. Then there are birds that soar. They use their wings to fly and they soar on unseen currents that keep them from becoming weary in flight. I can say I am sometimes all 3. Often I flap and try endlessly to get it all done and get discouraged that I am not getting it all done. Some days I set a pace and seem not so ill at myself when I dont's get as much accomplished as I wanted to. I hope to soar more as I ask God PLEASE help me. I don't even know how to feel right now. It's been almost a year and the reality is setting in that things have changed. So this morning David Jeremiah said instead of saying the 23rd Psalm as we often do but the but in another place. We often say the Lord is my Shephard but I'm having trouble with finances or health. Say I'm I having trouble But the Lord is my Shepard. I'm having trouble with what I'm supposed to do BUT the Lord is my Shephard. We are compared to sheep in the Bible. Sheep without a Shepard would drown in water and perish without his help so they were totally dependent on their Shephard. AND SO ARE WE.

This is Debbie: some of yall are like me and we are growing up. When we owned the tanning salon many years ago I pulled something in my knee. Never had it checked but when I walk and work 12 plus hours a day that knee reminds me it doesn't like it. Now i have added an elbow as well as I use them in excess every day. So what have you all learned to make it better when slowing down is not an option?? Many people tell me to slow down and I agree that would be wonderful but it's not an option as it takes hard work and a staff of 12 to make the cleaners roll. This community would miss a cleaners. I had a lady drive over an hour Thursday because there is no where near her that would press 20 tablecloths. I see the stress it will cause as the few of us that are left can't do it. Alterations is also a needed source. Only a few remain. I never thought I would see the day when cleaners were so few. When I was a little girl there were many!!
