๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ก๐๐๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ isn't only about surviving the hottest part of the day. It's also about giving cattle the opportunity to recover before the next day begins.
Their body is constantly trying to balance the heat it gains and produces with the heat it can get rid of.
Nighttime is their recovery window.
Those ๐๐จ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ซ ๐ง๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฎ๐ง๐ฅ๐จ๐๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ก๐๐๐ญ they accumulated during the day and bring their body temperature back toward normal.
But what happens when the night time temps never get cool enough?
This becomes an accumulative cycle.
This is why we watch the 70ยฐF mark.
Around 70ยฐF and below, given enough time and favorable conditions, cattle have a much better
But 70ยฐF is only part of the story.
