🤍 It’s Transfer Week at LVC, and we want to take a moment to recognize someone who makes such a meaningful difference in the lives of transfer students!
Today was especially meaningful as Maggie, a transfer student and current LVC student, had the opportunity to bring Spruce Hill Acres to campus and introduce others to our amazing animals while sharing just how special agriculture and animal education can be! 🐮🤎
We are incredibly thankful for Julie Denniston, LVC’s Transfer Student Advisor, who goes above and beyond to advocate for, support, and provide resources to students navigating their transfer journey.
As one of the owners of Spruce Hill Acres, Maggie knows firsthand how much of a difference Julie makes. From being a constant resource to offering encouragement and guidance, Julie has played an important role in helping Maggie get to where she is today. Balancing college, athletics, and coordinating so much of our family farm would not look the same without the support and advocacy Julie has provided along the way.
