Az beer has lost a true trailblazer

Learning of the passing of Anthony Conecchia today when I returned from China . Wow .
When I started Old World Brewey in 2008 Santan was a new brewey also . It he always allowed me to bend his ear he advised me on several things and was helpful to me even though I did not come from the beer scene back then . He and Andy Ingram from 4 peaks were both great to me.
When I was taking OWB to San Diego Beer festivals and sharing our beers with Cali. I said to Anthony one day “you should come next year “ , and the next year My Old World Pub was right next to San Tans . And then Mr pineapple on cans started showing up in San Diego for summer , it was cool representing AZ with San Tan .
We were proud to see our beer stack sitting along side SanTan at Total wine etc .
Sad news , he was too young at 51 .
Rest in peace AC.
