Flock fun

In 2010 I bought my first chickens, a pair of bantam buff brahmas :Rupert and Bell. I had planned on just having a small flock, perhaps 4-5 chickens as I spend summer in Pennsylvania and winters on Florida and I planned on bringing my flock along with me. Well... as most chicken owners my plans quickly changed. I responded to an add for “mixed Cochin chicks”, got my cage and traveled across town to take a look. There I found the most beautiful little hobby farm and most diversely colored chickens I had ever seen, all Cochins of course. perhaps a dozen colorful little trios with their own little brightly painted coops and runs. It was here I gathered my inspiration for my future dream farm.

Fast forward 7 years, many many chickens later to November of 2016 when my husband and I bought our first farm and I decided to make my dream a reality. Our farm came equipped with a fenced back yard with 4 little runs: perfect for my little combinations I always dreamed of creating. I hope to provide some fun colorful chickens to brighten up your flocks!
