REMINDER - EQUISCOUTS 2026 ORIENTATION MEETING TOMORROW 2-4 PM AT BRIGHTON FARM ! If you want to learn about horses, working with them and around them, and their care in a fun casual environment - come to our free program to check it out! Equiscouts is 18 years old and so many have learned so much and had a blast doing so!! No need to sign up, just show up! Even experienced horse kids/adults can always learn something! IT IS 2026 - YEAR OF THE HORSE - TIME TO START OUR 2026 MEETINGS!!! Kick off 2026 by learning about horses! Our Equiscouts program starts off this coming Sunday, February 22nd from 2 to 4 in the afternoon at Brighton Farm in Antioch! The program is a free, drop in, monthly program for kids (and adults) who want to learn about horses, their care and, most importantly, how to work around them safely. We do this by lecture, speakers, activities and hands on experience with our four-legged assistants! Our meetings are held monthly with new topics and activities each month. No prior experience around horses is necessary and this is not a riding experience. We have a great time each month and hold our meetings whether we have one attendee or 30 attendees! If you are interested in these magnificent animals and want to learn - come join us! This coming meeting - our first in 2026 - is set up specifically as an orientation and welcome for new members.
