Don’t miss the opportunity to to meet this very special woman.

She FARMS Apex 2025 is tomorrow and we can’t wait! Here is another sneak peak of the women farmers you will meet on the tour:

Jean Copeland (Jean’s Neighborhood Market)

Jean was born in Raleigh and moved to the Green Level Community (of Apex) when she was six. Her grandparents owned a to***co farm and Jean, like the rest of the family, helped in the to***co fields starting at a very young age.

Her first job after graduation was at a label mill in Pittsboro, where the company made labels that were sewn on uniforms. Jean did the payroll for the mill. After that, Jean got a job at UNC Chapel Hill in the placement office and worked there for seven years before staying home to raise her children.

Jean was gifted Jean’s Berry Patch on her 40th birthday from her husband, Ronald.

Jean loves UNC and Santa. Make sure to ask her about the Santa room in her house!

Come learn more about Jean, her family and her incredible story!

The countdown in on to She FARMS Apex 2025! Here is another sneak peak of the women farmers you will meet on the tour:

Beth Farrell (Pack House Farm)

Who says that tractor grease and sparkle can’t mix? Beth grew up working on both her grandparents farms. When she was crowned Little Miss Trojan Village in kindergarten, she realized that there was nothing wrong with wearing a tiara AND driving (or fixing) tractors.

She’s a proud 4-H and FFA alumni member, with a deep rooted passion in agricultural education. Pack House Farm is proud to help connect the community to where there food comes from. Last year the farm was named one of the best places in Chatham County for a family outing!

When Beth isn’t busy at the farm or serving her community, you can find her cheering for the NC State Wolfpack.

Learn more about Beth, her family and blueberries this Saturday!

We are so lucky to live next door to Jordan Lake Farms and the May Family. Don’t miss the beautiful cut flower garden by the pond. It’s magical.

She FARMS Apex 2025 is just 3 days away. Here is a sneak peak of the wonderful women farmers you will meet on the tour:

Diana May (Jordan Lake Farms)

Diana is a Pharmacist turned Farmer, owning and managing the Jordan Lake Farms in Apex, NC with her husband and daughter. She left her corporate medical affairs career to focus on her family’s Christmas Tree Farm full time. Using her knowledge of strategy building and operations, Diana has been improving and increasing the farm's scope and seasonal interest. 2024 marked 30 years of farming for this family and in the past 6 years the farm has opened a Flower Farm, a Farm Stay and an Event space.

“It has been a privilege to be able to share our farm with families and see the joy that being part of the farm has brought them. We are truly blessed.” Diana is a lifelong learner and continues to refine and innovate to make her farm a place where family, friends and guests call it home.

Learn more about Diana, her family, Christmas trees and fresh cut flowers this Saturday!
