🎄 THREE GENERATIONS. ONE FAMILY TRADITION. 🎄

Meet Austin — a third-generation North Carolina Christmas tree farmer. 🌲

As you can see in this photo, Austin has been in the fields from a very young age, learning the ropes and growing up with Christmas trees all around him. He learned from the best — his grandfather, Bruner, and his father, Randal, carrying on a family tradition that has been passed down through generations.

For Austin, Christmas trees aren’t just a seasonal business. They’re a part of his family, his upbringing, and a way of life. 🌲❤️

And when you support Neighbor Boy In & Out, you’re supporting more than just Austin. You’re supporting his family, along with Dave and his family — two passionate farming families who put countless hours, hard work, and love into growing and selling beautiful North Carolina Fraser firs.

Every tree has a story. Every tree represents years of growing, caring, and hard work.

When you choose a locally grown NC Christmas tree, you’re helping keep a family tradition alive. ❤️🎄

We can’t wait to share this tradition with you this Christmas season!

🌲 A little sign of healthy growth! 🌲

Have you ever noticed the lighter green tips on a Christmas tree? ✨

This photo was taken earlier this year and shows the new growth on one of our Fraser firs. That lighter green color is a beautiful sign that the tree was actively growing and putting on fresh, healthy growth during the season. 🌱

Over the course of the year, these new shoots mature and become the full, beautiful branches that make Fraser firs so perfect for Christmas. 🎄

We love getting a glimpse of the trees throughout the growing season—and we’re even more excited to see them make their way to our lot this Christmas!

🎄 Christmas tree season will be here before we know it!

🌲 Did You Know?

Christmas trees don’t naturally grow into that perfect Christmas-tree shape! 🎄 Each year, they’re carefully sheared and trimmed to encourage the full, beautiful shape we all know and love.

Enjoy this beautiful sunset from one of the Sides properties! 🌅 In this photo, the trees were still in the midst of growing and hadn’t yet been trimmed for the season. As you saw in our last post, they’ve now been trimmed and are getting ready for the upcoming season!

There’s so much that goes into growing the perfect Christmas tree, and we can’t wait to share more of the process with you. ❤️

Follow along for more behind-the-scenes, fun facts, and updates as we get closer to the upcoming season! 🎄
