We asked Brad what he would want every farmer to know about what goes into their bag of Alfahay. Here's what he said. ⬇️

It starts with the cut. We cut our alfalfa at 50% moisture and that number matters more than most people realize. That moisture level is what sets the fermentation up to work the way it's supposed to. Too dry and the whole process is compromised before it even begins.

Most people see the bag. Here's everything that happens before it gets there.⬇️

It starts in the field. We cut our alfalfa at 50% moisture. That number is not random. That moisture level is what sets the fermentation up to work the way it's supposed to. The timing of that cut is everything.

From there we ted the field. Spreading and turning the alfalfa so it dries down evenly and at the right pace. Rush this step and you compromise the quality of everything that comes after it.

Then the alfalfa goes into the bag and that's where the fermentation actually happens. Inside the bag. The natural fermentation process is activated by apple c***r vinegar and that's what preserves the live cultures and locks in the probiotics that make Alfahay unlike anything else on the market. When you open your bag and see a white yeast culture sitting on top. That’s a good thing. That's your sign that the fermentation did exactly what it was supposed to do and the nutrition inside is readily available for your animal.
