lfilling "Sergeant Squash's" vision of providing healthy and fresh nutrition to anyone or any agency expressing a need. Jim's sincere efforts won him recognition as a nominee for the Victorville Daily Press's 2010 Person of Year Award and executive director of the runner up position in the 'Volunteer Organization/Non-Profit' category of the 2012 Best of the Desert voting. However Jim would much prefer winning a continuing greater number of volunteers and benefactors.
