Well… that’s a wrap. Mostly.

Today closes out one of our best seasons at the Downtown Appleton Farm Market. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, discovered us, came back for more, or let Yaw talk you into a sample. 😂

We’ve got a couple of road trips ahead, then we’re back for Oktoberfest on September 26.

As for October? That decision belongs to Wisconsin weather. We know our place. 😂

Last call for our award winning brittle.

September 5 will be our last market Downtown Appleton Farm Market until Oktoberfest on September 26.

If you haven’t figured it out, Yaw enjoys handing out samples of the brittle and he’s got a whole spiel lined up for you.

You can try peanut, cashew or pistachio. (🤫Always go for the pistachio).

If you get a chance, ask him how he started the business. It’s a doozy of a story.

You know we make more than brittle, right? 👀

Over at Sweet P’s, we have a whole line of handmade toffees, and with fall right around the corner, our Pumpkin Seed Toffee is about to make its return.

It starts with our buttery toffee, gets smothered in white chocolate, and then gets a generous helping of roasted pumpkin seeds for a little extra crunch.

It’ll be ready September 12, just in time for FallFest in Oconomowoc.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how we make it.

Now we’re quietly wondering if we should bring some to Oktoberfest in Appleton too.

Hey….the BrittleDaddies aren’t done yet.

We’ve had a blast this summer meeting new customers, introducing a whole lot of people to our candied pecans, and watching some of you rediscover brittle. And we’ve still got a few more chances to do it before the season wraps up.

Some customers noticed the new bags this weekend.

The first question was exactly what we expected…

“Wait… did you change the brittle?”

Nope.

You still get full nut flavor, that crisp snap, and none of the wrestling match with your teeth.

The only thing that changed is the bag.

It’ll keep your brittle fresher for longer and travel home a little better.

The brittle told us it was tired of wearing clear. We finally listened.

(We’re still not convinced eating it faster was ever a real problem.) 😏
