Cultivated for thousands of years, the flavor and character of garlic varieties are influenced by the local environment. The vast majority of garlic consumed in the US is grown in California and China, but at this time of year you can get the good stuff much closer to home!

We're excited to have Zoie Kipfer join the worm farm as our Operations Lead!

Zoie will lead the day to day production and packaging operations. Prior to joining the worm farm, Zoie worked in agronomy roles with on-farm experience, equipment maintenance, quality control, and market research responsibilities. She is pursuing a degree in Agribusiness.

We're excited to have Brad Habert join the worm farm as our Vermicompost Production Lead!

Brad will spearhead the vermicomposting process and daily worm casting harvest. Prior to joining the worm farm, Brad worked as a laboratory scientist, farm outreach manager, and conservation volunteer. He holds a degree in Biology from Ripon College.

It’s been awhile since we posted. We’ve been knee deep in building new vermicomposting boxes and making facility upgrades to greatly expand our capacity. So many darn boxes!!

But we’re ready for the growing season! Stop by the farm to get your worm castings and check out some new products that aren’t on the website yet.
