Day 39, Fri. 10/10. Good morning Fox Valley. There is definately a fall feeling to the air. Seems like it happens every year, with a little frost on the pumpkin.
All our apple picking customers return saying " boy, you still have alot of apples". My wife sticks her fingers in her ears and says, lalalala! I get the feeling She wants to be sold out! Lol
Todays featured apple, the CANDY CRISP. Known for its red delicious shape, its believed to be the parent. Large green apple with a yellow tint, it is an excellent keeper and is know for its pear like flavor. Sweet apple good for eating or baking or salads. Stop in and try a taste. See pic.

Our wolf rivers and greenie are on sale for only $1/lb. Great baking apples and they're priced to move. Get em outta here!! Betty Crocker recommends the greenie for baking. Good size and tart flavor make it an ideal baking apple.
Sauce makers? Honeycrisp windfalls only $1/lb in 10lb bags. No sugar needed.

And our world famous Caramel apples. Homemade caramel and handed selected apples make this an irresistible fall treat. Plain or covered in crunchy,roasted Virginia peanuts, absolutely to die for.
A local grocery store is offering caramel apples for $7.99! Sprinkles or nutted or whatever? Don't do it folks, ours are better AND CHEAPER!!
So stop in for some apple picking fun or grab a bag of prepicked apples from our store. It's a great fall activity and easy picking.
