Garden 2024 has been planted and prayed over! This year we have sown peas, green beans, squash, zucchini, corn, pumpkins, potatoes, watermelon and to come tomatoes, cucumbers, and red and green peppers! We are still on the hunt for some Lima bean seeds.

Our first attempt at growing pumpkins! This is our first harvest and there are just as many or more still on the vines!! ❤️ our animals will be eating well! (Fun fact: Pumpkins are a natural dewormer! We will be feeding these to our livestock and throwing some out into the woods for the wildlife).

#2 is our first cow we’ve taken to slaughter (she was infertile). She was a big girl and gave us around 450 # of finished meat that was split up between 4 families. We’ve received good reviews of her quality!
