🐮❤️ TWO RED GIRLS ARE LOOKING FOR GREENER PASTURES! 🌱

Meet Octavia & Olivia — our two beautiful red heifers who are looking for their next pasture to call home! 🐮🐮

These sweet girls are October babies and coming up on ONE YEAR OLD! 🎂🍂 How did that happen so fast?!

And then there’s Olivia — affectionately known around here as “Grumpy Cow.” 😂❤️ Not because she’s mean, but because she has definitely mastered the “I’m not impressed” facial expression! She’s got personality, and we love her for it. 🐮😂

It has been a little bit but look who is back! Now I had cleaned the barn in preparation for some building to take place. Not the addition of these two chaps. But they will be moving to the wood lot behind the house to start clearing!

What I love about my cows…What we thought was a bag of some sort on the hill, in the woods behind our. It was trash at all a white Galloway bull calf.

Momma tucked him away and she was up the hill eating not looking like she had even given birth.

I try not to stress out too often because it doesn’t do any good…

Imagine my surprise as I’m in Altavista working to get a text from a number I don’t know, saying I think your cows are over here…

My heart sank, I’m a good 45 minutes to an hour away, Henry is at work, Andrew is home alone. The cows are down the river through the woods…

I get there and was told they started walking back, cool. But then the news was they went back.

So I started walking them back towards the trail while we got things situated. A plan was needed…

Let me just say a huge, huge thank you to all our longtime friends, and new friends on Blackberry! You guys are such amazing people!

We are so grateful for your assistance and selflessness to help us walk them back through the woods and over the river! Plus my favorite honey people in Appomattox! You guys are the best! Gunny's Farm

And to say they were just like ok let’s wait here with mom while the crew shows up… that is what they did.

These cows… 😂🥰🤗

Oh and while all this was going on Sinclair was doing his job and Finlay was pacing a fence line across the way… 😳
