A resourceful couple decided to marry and settle down on a historic chunk of land in a rural county which had been neglected for quite a long time. They have since worked tirelessly in between full time jobs, additional side businesses, the arrival of a new family member, and a cancer diagnosis to "find" the overgrown yard and fields, and acquire what equipment they could (when they could) to beco

me a little more self-sustaining each and every year. They are grateful for the continued blessings and mercy God bestows upon them and their efforts, and with each new bounty that results beyond the family's consumption, they offer it to their community at a "Bear Bottom bargain price"! They continue to cultivate the land and set milestone goals to produce more and more pesticide-free, heirloom, and organic offerings each season. Bear Bottom Farm VA:

We are a bit late to the party as I have been and continue to be battling through shingles (yay, me!), but here's our first morels of our season. It was a short walk because my body was screaming with pain, but not a bad little haul for as briefly as we walked. It's enough for a yummy dinner!
