These hogs will be chilled and prepared to throw straight on your pit or smoker. Be sure to take a cooler and ice with you to pick them up.

If you are looking to grow pigs on your farm we have some ready to go. These pigs are weaned and wormed. Eating like crazy and drinking from clean fresh water pig ni***es. I may offer a production quality female or two for someone serious about having the right kinda mommas

Plenty to be thankful for, even in the midst of some aggravating circumstances.
I delivered 4 really beautiful healthy hogs, to be prepared for customers, this morning. Thankful for the pigs, for the customers and their trust in our program, thankful for the rain and the grass and yes I'm even thankful for the mud! Some days, like today, that can be hard to say.

But to put it in perspective, 14 days ago the temperature was climbing and with big sows and top hogs that can spell disaster! Mud dont make for the prettiest of pictures, but it is salvation for a hog on those brutally hot days.
I'm thankful for the wind that refreshes us and blows in the new seasons. Thankful for sun that warms our faces and waters my brow. Thankful for close friends and strangers alike. I can't actually raise the value of one above the other since I have had deep meaningful life-giving conversations, blessings, gifts and wisdom delivered by both.

I'm very thankful for my family. A brother and sister who are both brave enough to run at life full blast with smiles and laughter and worship in their hearts. A momma and a daddy with real love for people and, a love for music. They are serious enough about life that they can smell flowers, drink coffee, and do the things they love without being boxed in by new ways and fads and changing times! It keeps my parents young and strong in their resistance towards these brand new days with so-called progress, advancement and internet dependence!

Two brothers in law who are kind and bold and giving! And 2 sisters in law strong and straight they calculate and do some heavy lifting through matters they be sifting help when the times be shifting my wife she do be thrifting
she sharp and slick dont miss a tick. GIves like saint Nick, her brain way quick and prettier than roses

A little about Hubbard Family Farms who we are and what we are doing. We are currently running 7 sows here on the farm and those sows collectively have the power and gumption to produce between 100 and 150 meat hogs per year! That's a big deal! And we dont take it lightly. We are humbled by and encouraged by the positive feedback and amazing reviews that our customers have provided. The food produced on this farm is grown with health and integrity at the forefront of what we do. Its of the utmost importance to us that these hogs have an environment in which they can thrive and grow. We keep a constant watch on our grow out pens, pastures, and woodland paddocks to ensure that we are positively impacting not only the pigs but also the very soil where it all starts. Yes we care alot about dirt around here. Building a living breathing thriving soil is the starting place for having a great place to live and a great place raise food from fruits and veggies to pork beef and chicken. We spend a good deal of time checking water sources in all areas because thirsty animals aint happy or healthy. Every animal on our place needs constant 24/7 access to fresh clean water. Because sometimes the most satisfying drink is the wake up in the middle of a good night's sleep to get a big o gulp and back off to the dreams kinda drink! When it comes to pigs and pig feed there are alot of different ideas and "tricks" for saving money and growing hogs but here on our farm we have found a great quality hog feed at a local mill that grows our animals big and strong and we buy that feed by the tons and pick it up weekly to ensure that it is fresh.we do not collect junk food and scraps to randomly throw out but instead we keep each animal on a regular schedule with a trusted feed source. This is not an exhaustive list of all our practices and we do not think that we have fully arrived at the pinnacle of
" how to hog" but rather this is just a opportunity for transparency as we want people to see the how's and the WHYs of what we are doing. Check us out and let us know if we can serve you in any way.
