This girl goes to her new home tomorrow and I just had to shave her and snag pics before she left. I’m so happy with where she’s going, but goodness, she’s one that I’ve had to just keep my eyes off of so I didn’t fall in love with her.

It’s so risky and nerve wracking repeating crosses. We all know how genetics roll, and I don’t feel like you ever get exactly what you want more than once. While this girl and Rosary are different in some ways, they’re also proving that this cross WORKS. I’ll being repeating it a third time infact 😏

I don’t like. I LOVE.

This kid strutted her stuff in the ring for the first time at just 3mo. In the first ring she ever walked in, she went grand and was a top contender for BIS, unfortunately she wouldn’t walk. Despite the judge and I both begging and pleading for her to just take a couple steps, she never gave in. Eventually, the judge conceded, ”I just can’t give BIS to a doe that won’t walk.” Fair enough. 😂 We’ll try to add walking to her resume next time!

The reality of taking pictures solo.

First, the kid wants to act like a dummy (in fairness, this is the first time she’s been on a collar).

Next, we take a break to have a come to Jesus meeting. The kid starts acting PERFECT. Little do I know she’s only half in frame. 🙃

Finally, the kid starts acting like a turd again- parking her feet out and pulling her head down. But at least she’s completely in frame, right? 🥴🥴🥴

She’s full sisters to my doe who was 2nd place at Nationals last year and 6th place at nationals this year. I’ve found this cross to be extremely consistent with small differences here and there. While this kid doesn’t quite have ThrIsACloud’s insane width, she has even more dairy character and even more angles to her. Really super interesting kid!

I think it’s safe to say that I’ll be repeating this breeding. While I had originally planned to breed Merlot to P Root, I’m REALLY loving these Saint kid with her. Look at that front end and rump.. and the feet and legs.. I’ll post a picture of how insanely wide this kid is in the comments too. So much power and substance but sooooo dairy too.

From her beautifully balanced head, to her impeccable feet and legs, to her absolutely insane rump, this doe DEMANDS a second glance.

I seriously just keep finding more things I love about her. She’s so long, level, and balanced, but that rump… good grief 😮‍💨 Wide, long, level, and paired with a rear leg set that I could stare at all day. She’s one of those does that somehow manages to be so incredibly feminine and elegant while still having plenty of substance underneath her.

She’s bred to Wolfivan Pacific Root. They’re all mine 😅 sorry. But her waitlist is wide open!
