Not only do we do have beef cattle.

Our oldest has taken on showing goats and a lamb on top of a steer!

She has enjoyed her experience and learning this weekend and is already looking forward to the next show!

Our youngest was able to get some hand on experience as well 🙂

We finally did the big thing this week!

Fenced off the property that had been used for corn for the last who knows how long.

We will be working on seeding the fields in the fall to introduce rotational grazing to the main herd as we finish steers by the barn.

Let’s just say cows are happier and it’s a pretty sight to see 🙂

100% British White beef!

This is one of our heifers that wouldn’t breed after being exposed to 2 different bulls.
Unfortunately, we can’t afford feeding an animal that won’t produce for us.

This heifer was NOT meant to be freezer so she was not “finished”. Just hay and a little bit of grain morning and night. Straight off the pasture.

But we are so thankful we were able to harvest her and have meat for this coming winter!
