The average individual in the U.S. uses enough paper and wood to account for 7 trees per year. If more people recycled paper products, the U.S. could save millions of trees each year. It's estimated that 25 million trees would be saved if everyone in the U.S. recycled 1/10 of their newspapers (via RecycleNation).
