The Rosenstein family has been involved in the Fresh Produce industry for more than 90 years with the inception of Wm Rosenstein & Sons in 1918. Originating in the Scranton, PA produce terminal the first Wholesale operation was run by William Rosenstein and his two sons Eugene and Sidney Rosenstein. The business thrived in the same location for 50 years when it was decided that a new location was

needed and the current location on Keyser Avenue was constructed. Over the past 40 years the family business has added two more generations of Produce experience and has expanded its delivery radius to more than 200 miles from the city of Scranton. Now operated by Jay and Philip Rosenstein, the wholesale division continues to supply Retail, Wholesale and Foodservice customers with the finest in fresh fruits and vegetables. In 2002, brothers Jamy and Jeffrey Rosenstein opened Atlantic Fresh Trading LLC to satisfy the high demand for direct sales. With over 800 items available at any given time, Atlantic Fresh distributes domestic and exotic fresh fruits and vegetables from around the globe. Through various acquaintances and contacts on both the East and West coasts, Atlantic Fresh Trading has been able to construct unique programs for their customers by linking contract buying and close personal participation. In 2005, in order to keep up with the high demand for Mexican fruits & vegetables, Atlantic Fresh opened a second location in Nogales, Arizona where it specializes tomato sales. The facility has the capability to not only consolidate customer’s orders but also handles repacking, storage & quality control services. And in 2010 Atlantic Fresh Donna, Texas & Atlantic Fresh Visalia, CA consummated the company’s third & forth operations, concentrating on both retail and foodservice sales. In addition to the various Produce affiliations the Transportation division fondly named “Cherokee Truck Brokers” came on the scene in 2004 to meet the transportation needs of both Atlantic Fresh and its customers. With locations in Scranton, Pennsylvania and Blenheim, South Carolina,Phoenix, Arizona & Houston Texas. Cherokee has surpassed all expectations and continues to be a fantastic addition to the organization. Atlantic Fresh Trading has been an absolute sensation since it’s inception and continues to expand into new areas of the produce industry.
