Safe Haven Equine Rescue & Retirement was organized to rescue horses in need of food, shelter, and medical attention due to neglect or abuse in an effort to improve their quality of life. Further more, SHERR will provide a place or assist in finding a place of retirement for older horses that are unable to perform the tasks intended for them. SHERR’s goal is to find permanent placement with responsible adoptive homes for horses as riding mounts or retired pets.

Part 1 - Spa day, riding (last week not in this heat) 3 ride on Nova a 3yr old, Bill riding Monty, Zoe on Baron (PRE he’s adopted) Kenzie on Birdie ( rescue that’s adopted) and Jamie on the Queen lol Kaia, T on Pharaoh and of course the donkeys and mule had to join in the fun ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Chanel is coming along nicely. It’s such a blessing to connect with the horses. Working on her back feet as she hasn’t had farrier work in quite awhile /she rapid fire kicks. But we will teach her not to be afraid.
