Alachua County Youth Fair is a wrap for us! The kids had a great year and worked really hard.

Nicholas placed 2nd in the Poultry Skillathon and 3rd in Poultry Record Book, and earned a red ribbon in Public Speaking.

Meredith had a big fair: Grand Champion Breeding Goat Showmanship, Reserve Champion Rabbit, 1st in Breeding Goat Record Book, 1st in Rabbit Record Book, 1st in Rabbit Showmanship, 1st in Rabbit Skillathon, 1st in the Cattlemanā€™s Contest Skillathon, 1st in Swine Sense Skillathon, and a blue ribbon for Public Speaking. She also placed 2nd in Rabbit Judging and 3rd in Poultry Showmanship.

Really proud of both of them and the effort they put in this year. šŸšŸ‡šŸ“

Finally catching up from a fantastic week at the 2025 American Rabbit Breedersā€™ Association National Convention. Meredith had a great time and did a great job! She brought home:

Iā€™m so excited to share that Iā€™m heading to Indianapolis, IN for the ARBA National Convention again this year! šŸ°

Iā€™ll be representing District 6 on the Junior Quiz Bowl and Breed Identification teams, and Iā€™ll also be competing in Showmanship. And I'm excited my rabbit, Jeffrey, is coming too!! šŸ§³šŸ‡
