Summer is here! We have moved the rams into their own paddock for the summer and fall.
Why do we do this?
In sheep farming, timing matters. By separating the rams now, we prevent unexpected fall lambing — which helps us focus on healthy spring lambs and gives the ewes a proper rest period. It’s all part of responsible pasture management on our grass-fed operation.
Our ewes and lambs are looking happy and relaxed in their main flock right now, enjoying the fresh forage.
This kind of intentional management is exactly why our lamb has such great flavor and quality — healthy animals raised the right way make all the difference.
Only 5 whole lamb slots left for our 2026 harvest.
