It’s been awhile since we’ve shared our Highlands. We currently only have 4–our Matriarchs, Elsa and Anna, and their calves, Gizmo and Skunk. Skunk was named because she is half Hereford and has a white stripe down her back. We were out today because Gizmo decided she’d rather run in our neighbor’s herd. It wasn’t too hard to convince her to come back once she saw her mama, but Lee is out fixing fence (a constant job) to discourage her from doing it again.
