If you’ve got any time to spare this weekend, we could still use some help at our Farmfest booth. It’s always a joy to catch up with folks and share our info. Reach out to us here and we’ll confirm the arrangements. Thank you!

As we look back on another wonderful spring and summer of shows and our first ever Field Day, we want to thank everyone who joined us. More than anything, these activities are reunions, and have always been about our farm family—seeing one another, sharing stories, learning, laughing together and keeping connections alive.

Our "reunions" have changed over the past couple of years. While some members step away from farming responsibilities and physically pass on the tradition to their children, others are starting fresh. Some who have held annual in-person sales have shifted to online. Others believe their days of grooming young heifers for the showring is behind them. Life happens. Change occurs. As cattle ranchers, it's a concept we recognize all too well.

We very much would like to see our traditions expanded upon. So, as spring of 2027 approaches and we look toward the future, we would love your thoughts.

What would you like to see for our association? Are there activities, educational opportunities, social gatherings, or new traditions you would enjoy being part of? Perhaps there is something you've thought about for years but never had the opportunity to pursue. Maybe you have an idea that would bring a new generation of families into the fold, or a simple way to help longtime members stay connected.

An association is only as strong as the people who make it one, and the future of our farm family is something we can build together. You don't have to serve on a board or take on a major responsibility to make a difference. Sometimes, all it takes is sharing an idea, lending a hand, or being willing to help bring people together.

Members — We Need You!

Farmfest is happening this Friday, Saturday & Sunday, and we’d love to have some of our Missouri Red Angus members help us represent our breed at our association booth!
We’re looking for members who can volunteer a few hours during the weekend to visit with attendees and simply help us put a friendly face to our association and breed.

You don’t have to be an expert or have all the answers — just a willingness to spend a little time helping promote something we’re all passionate about! ❤️

If you’re able to help for a few hours any time on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday from 8-5, please reach out in the comments below and let us know what day/time might work for you.

Let’s make sure the Missouri Red Angus Association has a great presence at Farmfest!

Thank you to our members who are always willing to step up and lend a hand. We appreciate you! 🇺🇸

While there you’ll get to see the phenomenal grand and reserve champion Reds that came out of Wednesdays Junior shows. Good luck to all the exhibitors who earned the opportunity to present their animals at tonight’s show!

What a wonderful week at the Missouri State Fair! We enjoyed showcasing our favorite breed and watching the next generation - from working hard in the barns, celebrating a birthday, loving on babies, and catching a few well-deserved zzz’s! 😴

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped to make it a great week. We couldn’t do it without our exceptional Show Committee, the Josh Nieder family, who made Tuesday night’s social a big hit with an amazing shrimp boil, and all the members who contributed delicious sides and a helping hand when needed. 🦐🌽

Great cattle, exceptional people, and even better memories. We’re already looking forward to next year!
