Highland Cattle Company started from several long conversations while driving the country side dreaming of someday owning our own acreage. We wondered... Why has there been a trending exit of young generations moving away from family farms and ranches? Why has there been a decrease in locally produced, sustainable farming and ranching that takes into account our health, our livestock, our produce
and our land. Why does eating healthy, lean and clean have to be out of reach for most families. We started researching, asked lots of questions and challenged many methods. Soon, we were lead to pray about becoming apart of the answers to our questions. So we packed up our city life and traded it for country life... moved the wife, kids & our dog to a tiny existing farm house and began preparing the land. A added cow here and there has now become a heard. Now called, Highland Cattle Co. We harvest only grass feed and grass finished beef. No hormones, no antibiotics, no GMO's, no chemical sprays or fertilizers in our pastures. Expect & count on lean, healthy Scottish Highland Beef.
