AWESOME custom Bail-E Maker saddle for sale! Gary completely hand built this saddle for his daughter Kassidy with the finest quality materials available. She has now outgrown it so it's time for someone else to enjoy.

This saddle is built on an excellent custom Ben Swanke (rawhide covered wood) Wade style tree specifically proportioned for a youth rider.

This superb handmade tree is built on 90 degree bars. The gullet measures 6" inches wide at the front and is 7 3/4" inches tall. It has an 8" inch swell and the fork is 4 1/2" inches wide front to rear. The wood post dally horn measures 3" inches tall with a 4" inch finished cap. The seat finishes approx. 13 1/2" inches long with an 11" inch wide oval cantle 3 1/2" inches tall with a 1" inch dish.

The leather is 11/13 ounce Hermann Oak skirting and the sewing is all done by hand using 4 cord waxed linen thread.

The double in-skirt rigging is set in the seven eights position with stainless Harwood Saddlery Hardware rings in front and dee rings in the rear. It is set up with two long latigoes, and the stainless Horseshoe Brand "dot" breast collar dees are set high on the latigo keepers.

This great looking saddle is finished in a half breed style with roughout seat and fenders. The pointed square skirts, rigging, fork, horn cap, Cheyenne roll, latigo keepers, hobble hanger, and cinch hanger are all tooled with a Hamley style flower stamp.

The fenders are 17" inches long, 6 3/4" inches wide with 2 1/2" inch single stirrup leathers and brass Blevins buckles with leather covered stainless sleeves.

The stirrup leathers are twisted to align the stirrups and keep the stirrup leathers from interfering with the latigoes. It also keeps the stirrup leathers from causing a hang up hazard when the stirrup leathers are set short. There are rosettes slit braided onto the end of the stirrup leathers to keep from loosing the Blevins sleeves. The 1/2" inch stirrup leather hobble straps are buckled with stainless steel Cart style buckles.

The horn is wrapped for a right handed roper with a pink chap leather wrap. (I can wrap it with a teal colored wrap or plain "mule hide" if preferred). The rope strap is a crossover or Oregon style.

This saddle has been extremely well taken care of, and was recently cleaned and conditioned. The tree and rigging are sound, the latigoes are in very good condition, the 1 5/8" inch Cheyenne roll is firm, and the long strings and sheepskin are in excellent condition.

This is a superb saddle in every respect and is just nicely broke in. It sits down on a horse well, and is straight and even with a very comfortable seat that promotes confidence in the young rider.

The sterling silver Bail-E brand cantle co**ha, and the excellent 4" inch Basin Tack Co. stirrups with leather treads are also included. The powder coated (purple with sparkles) aluminum stirrups have my Bail-E brand cutouts. If the stirrups won't work we can keep them as souvenirs and deduct $100.00 from the price of the saddle.

Please see all photos and message with any questions you may have. Great chance to own a super high quality youth saddle at a great price! $2850.00 + $75.00 shipping and insurance to the lower 48.

Super Nice Saddle! Thank you for looking! Please share.
