A batch of DDH WeedEater just hit all of our locations!

Built on a heavy grist of fluffy malted and flaked oats as well as domestic two row barley, wheat and chit malts. Hopped aggressively in the kettle with the all-mighty Simcoe & Amarillo. Fermented with our expressive House Ale yeast, and then absolutely amplified with a massively saturated dry hop AND THEN double dry hopping of hand selected Amarillo, Simcoe, Motueka, and Columbus. This batch features blown-out notes of dank papaya, underripe cantaloupe, drippy ripe mango, fresh kiwi berries and that 100mg peach/yuzu gummy that you’ve been saving for just the right time. TURN IT ALL THE WAY UP! 8.4% abv.

RELEASING TODAY! A hyper-heady and absolutely HOP-SOPPED collaboration with our budz over at HEAVY REEL BREWING CO.! Built on a foundation of SuperPale, Malted Oats, Chit, Rolled Oats, and Wheat, this brew pours very pale, with an almost opaque white colour.  With a name like SeaWeed we lit up a foundation of Amarillo & Mosaic in the whirlpool, then heavily dry hopped it with Citra, Simco Cryo, and Mosaic Quantum.  Once this one chilled out a bit, we blazed it again in the brite tank, with a strain of Abstrax Hops BrewGas called “Lemon Haze” and a ton of Freestyle Hops Maui Hop Kief for good measure. Notes of fresh and vibrant lemongrass, peach sorbet, lemon zest, sour lemon gummies and your favorite special grapefruit gummies (obtained, only at certain retailers in PA w/ your special card or anywhere in NJ). There is a familiar and nostalgic aroma of fruit roll ups here too.  Open up a can of powered lemonaid and inhale the headspace, that’s here too. Drinks incredibly smooth and crisp and will leave ya feeling glowed up. 9.5% abv

Just wanted to take a moment to give a real, genuine thank you.

The response to our latest run of hop-forward beers—from Refreshinger and Cattle Dog Smile to La Main de Dieu, our recent collab with —has been incredible. Seeing the reviews, the comments, and the photos floating around hasn’t gone unnoticed.

When we push into new techniques and commit to something, we springboard off of our fifteen years of boundary-pushing experience and we continue to do it with everything we’ve got—no shortcuts, no compromises. Knowing these beers are hitting the mark with you all means the world to our crew.

We’ve been at this for a long time, but honestly? It kinda feels like we’re just getting started again. The inertia right now is electric, and we’re nowhere near slowing down. This whole beer-thing is boundless; we’ve felt that in our bones this whole damned time and we are truly lucky ducks to still be feeling it… stronger than ever, honestly.

A few cases of each are still hanging out in the fridges across our locations — and they’re flowing fresh on draft at the Fermentaria and Tired Hands - St. Oner’s right now, too.

There’s so much more to come that we can’t wait to share with you real soon. =)

THVC FISHTOWN!

Join us Sunday, September 20th from 10am-12pm on Frankford Avenue in the Fishtown Neighborhood of Philadelphia as part of our Tired Hands Volunteer Corps.

We’ll meet out front of our Tired Hands - St. Oner’s location at 10am, fuel up with some incredible coffee from our friends at ReAnimator Coffee, split off into groups and help tidy up some of these Fishtown streets.

All necessary supplies/tools will be provided to the volunteers. Around noon, we’ll all reconvene at St. Oner’s, and each volunteer will be treated to a free pour of beer to celebrate their good will and hard work!

We at Tired Hands are committed to making our world a better place, and we’d love for you to help us do just that!

La Main de Dieu - Double IPA (9.2%)

We teamed up with one of Quebec’s finest Brasserie du Bas-Canada for a collab that pushes modern hop products to the absolute limit.

We loaded this Double IPA with hand-selected NZ Hops Ltd Nectaron & Nelson, Mosaic, and then turned the volume all the way up with Freestyle Hops Nectaron Hop Kief and Abstrax Hops Nectaron Quantum.

The result is super creamy, ultra-dank, and dripping with candied orange and lemon sherbet.

HUGE thank you to all of the wonderful folks that showed up for our Tired Hands Volunteer Corps gathering today in Mt. Airy.

We had such an incredible crew for our first ever THVC gathering at our Mt. Airy beer garden. Truly, this is what THVC is ALL about: hangin with old friends and meeting new friends, all while making our world a lil nicer. And a free pour of beer after is nice, too. ;)

After the serious success of this gathering, we are going to keep it rolling. The next THVC meet-up will be at our Fishtown location Tired Hands - St. Oner’s on a Sunday in late September. We’ll gather at 10:00am and then set out into town and do what we do for about two hours. Around noon, we’ll meet back up at St. Oner’s and hang. Every volunteer will be treated to a free pour. Stay tuned for more details.

Thank you again to everyone who volunteered today — we can’t wait to see you all again soon.
