Winding Creek Farm Hello, we are small farm in Central IL. Pasture raised lambs, chicken, eggs, and pork! We found the perfect just under 4 acre farm in rural Argenta.

A few years ago I started getting the itch to do something different with our lives. A few homesteading, chicken, farming, and gardening books(thank you amazon prime LOL) later I had discovered our big plan. The next step was looking for our dream place and diving into the homesteading life. With a little bit of labor and love we converted an old garage on the property into a coop for 50+ chickens. The 40x60 barn now holds our resident mascot a plump potbelly pig named Mr. Edwards & a small herd of goats. Our main focus is poultry at the moment with chicken egg sales and occasionally duck eggs (when they lay consistently). Our goals for the future are leaning heavily towards meat products. We are committed to growing and raising a product that we would feed our own family. We use no daily antibiotics, practice holistic health care, feed only locally sourced grain and hay to all of our animals. We strive to be good stewards of the earth and animals that we own.
