2024 Cowley County Fair Q4 Ranch raised Sheep!

08/03/2024

Q4 Ranch raised lambs are going out with a bang! It has been so much fun raising quality sheep for youth to learn good life skills with! It takes so much work and dedication to get a lamb show ready and these kids did a phenomenal job this year!

It was a sad day at Q4 Ranch this weekend! We said goodbye to the last of our sheep flock! But we are so excited for them as they go to a great home! Thanks to the Pelligrini and Engelbrecht families taking them and giving them a future!

We are offering another ram for sale! Tin Man! He has sired some of our best show animals to date. Just last year he had the supreme ewe and reserve supreme ewe at the Cowley County Fair. He also sire our two wethers the boys showed last year and Kolby’s placed top 3 at the 2023 Cowley County Fair. He sired two wethers that placed in the top 5 of their classes at the 2022 Kansas Junior Livestock show. He’s a 5 year old and has really proven himself and made our program more competitive! Please message me if you are interested!

Update- he is SOLD! Make sure to be looking for more posts on equipment, ewes, and additional rams for sale!
Thanks!!

Dustin and I have made a really tough decision but one that we know is right for our family at this point in time… we are selling out of the sheep business! With our kids busy in everything, we don’t have the time to dedicate to the ewes and rams like we would hope for! That being said- we are offering up “The Bull” for sale! We purchased him from Ott Club Lambs 2 seasons ago and he has done great things for our program! Please let me know if you are interested in this amazing Ram!

With a couple week break from lambing, they started dropping again last night. Had a single male and twins (male and female) out of the Bull last night! Look at the bone mass on that little one in the second photo! And the big babies tails are starting to fall off! It’s an exciting time here at Q4 Ranch! 🎉

Busy weekend at Q4 ranch! We had 2 long days of wrestling and had some good help from Papa Gary Anstine delivering a set of twins on Friday! Then an early morning today delivering our first set of triplets for the season! We are up to 10 babies on the ground with 17 more ewes to go! Happy Sunday FB friends!
