Meet GiGi 👋
She just started at our Arlington Heights location and will be heading into her senior year of high school this fall.

She’s a cross country and track runner, so when she’s not working, she’s usually out on a long run.

Her favorite part of the job so far? Meeting everyone! She’s been settling in and picking things up quickly.

GiGi also has two cats, Bentley and Tesla 🐾

Meet GG!

GG is part of our Arlington Heights team and brings creativity to everything she does. Her favorite parts of the job are making bagels, helping with the cooking, and creating her own special lunch combinations.

When it comes to food, she loves making fresh, healthy salads.

Outside of work, GG enjoys spending time in Chicago visiting family and, of course, doing a little shopping! 🛍️

Can you believe it’s already been ONE week since we opened our Arlington Heights location?!

We are still completely blown away by the support, kindness, and excitement this community has shown us in just a few short days. To say we’re grateful would be an understatement, you’ve truly made this something special.

At the heart of everything we do is simple: we love making people happy with good food. Seeing familiar faces, new neighbors, and so many first-time visits has been the best reminder of why we continue to grow and open new locations.

And most importantly… a HUGE round of applause for our incredible team. 💛
They are the reason this all comes together. From early mornings to nonstop service, their hard work, energy, and heart do not go unnoticed. We truly wouldn’t be here without them, our Once Upon A Bagel family is what makes each location feel like home.

To our customers, new friends, and neighbors, thank you for welcoming us so warmly in this first week. We’re so excited to be part of this community and can’t wait for what’s ahead.
