The biggest A Taste of the States: Miami yet is officially in the books! 🇺🇸🌎

NASDA’s Miami pavilion brought together 165 U.S. food and beverage companies, 12 state departments of agriculture and 32 NASDA-sponsored buyers from 23 countries, with the U.S. recognized as Country of Honor.

Over the past several days, U.S. companies shared the quality, innovation and diversity of American agriculture, built valuable relationships and opened doors to export opportunities around the world.

This year also marked more than 25 years of collaboration between NASDA, USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service and World Trade Center Miami, as the Americas Food & Beverage Show celebrated its 30th anniversary and welcomed 11,700 attendees representing 115 countries and territories.

A sincere thank you to our exhibitors, NASDA members, international buyers, cooperators and partners who made this an unforgettable three days.

Day 1 of the NASDA Buyers Mission at the Americas Food & Beverage Show is complete! 🌎🇺🇸

Today, 32 international buyers representing 23 countries participated in 398 meetings with U.S. companies to explore export opportunities, build new connections, and identify potential collaborations across global markets.

A great start to the week connecting U.S. agriculture and food companies with buyers from around the world. We’re looking forward to another exciting day of meetings tomorrow!

🌴🍊 From a Miami backyard to the show floor!

For more than 40 years, “Big Mama” Lois has grown calamondin citrus in her backyard, transforming it into the vinaigrette her family calls “liquid gold.”

Now, Big Mama Foods is bringing that family recipe to NASDA’s A Taste of the States pavilion at the Americas Food & Beverage Show. Made with real citrus and fresh herbs, its signature Calamondin Vinaigrette contains no added sugar or preservatives.

As NASDA wraps up its trade mission to Kenya and Rwanda, we’re reflecting on the relationships built and opportunities identified across East Africa.

In Kenya, the delegation engaged government and industry leaders on producer support, innovation, trade and investment. Visits to Farmer’s Choice and Ol Pejeta Conservancy explored meat processing, livestock systems and the connection between commercial ranching, conservation and community development. Members also exchanged perspectives with parliamentarians on animal feed policy and trade.

In Rwanda, NASDA brought U.S. state perspectives to high-level sessions on food systems finance, investment, livestock value chains and private-sector leadership at the Africa Food Systems Forum.

These exchanges advanced mutual understanding and opened doors for continued, mutually beneficial cooperation.

Announcing the 2026 Country of Honor: The United States!

The Americas Food & Beverage Show & Conference is proud to announce the United States as our 2026 Country of Honor, marking a special milestone as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of AFB alongside America’s 250th Anniversary!

This year’s A Taste of the States: Miami pavilion, produced by NASDA in cooperation with USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service, will be the largest in the show’s history—spanning 22,200 square feet and bringing together 165 U.S. food & beverage companies, 12 state departments of agriculture, and 32 NASDA-sponsored buyers from 23 countries.

This Country of Honor designation celebrates that longstanding partnership while putting American agriculture, innovation, and food & beverage products on the international stage in Miami.

NASDA members were on the ground in Kenya last week, meeting with the U.S. Embassy, the Chair of the Council of Governors Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperatives Committee, and leaders across the agriculture industry to build relationships and explore opportunities for collaboration between our two countries. The delegation also visited local producers, learning about agricultural practices in the region while sharing perspectives on agriculture in the U.S. This week, the delegation is participating in the Africa Food Systems Forum in Rwanda, joining government leaders in discussions on advancing agriculture and taking part in roundtables and panels to exchange knowledge, ideas and best practices. Stay tuned for more updates from the Africa Food Systems Forum!
