It is with a heavy heart that I am closing my business for the foreseeable future due to injuries sustained from last year's car wreck that have left me largely disabled. It has been a genuine pleasure to have been able to work with so many great clients over the past few years!

From donkeys to horses I've gotten to do some pretty major restoration work this summer, restoration comes in stages( both of these critters have a ways to go yet), but it's always encouraging to me when I get to see them walking/landing better than they were before

Taking advantage of a good Saturday to forge a couple hoof picks! growing up I was always taught to take full advantage of the resources you have, as a farrier I pull off quite a few old shoes from the horses I work on and once a shoe is worn out they don't get used again so what I like to do is take the shoe forge it in half and make hoof picks out of them! This is a fun way to repurpose the steel and give it new usefulness as well as a cool story to go along with it!

This is a horse that was pretty difficult to work with when he was tied up but once I took him to the round pen and spent time investing patience in him he ended up standing with me real nice, sometimes all it takes is meeting the horse where it's at, and at the end of the day he left with a really nice set of shoes
