As the sun set yesterday on another great Built for the Banner sale here in Flordia we decided since the trailer was empty and it was to late do anything fun we would make a trip across the state to see a beautiful sun rise in one of the first places I ever went as a kid in Florida and a place that has always had a place in my life!!!

The days are to short to not enjoy them with the most important ones to us. I seen this post a few weeks ago and it really hit home hard….

The only currency you have that you never know the balance of, is time on earth….. think about that one for min….

We are going to spend that unknown time with the ones that mean the most!!!

To some this is just a picture of pigs to us it means so much in the life of a show pig.

The importance of having pigs feed trained is more than just that. It is all about recognizing early sickness, getting everything out of a feed change when needed, creating routine for that pig so they can tell you a story every day of how they are feeling or what they need!!! They can’t talk but they can tell a story in many ways and eating is one of the best ways to read them.

We made it to Built For The Banner and Swine ABC’s in Tampa FL with the crew!!! Thanks Chris Ashley for hosting one of the most incredible events of the season. The things he does for us breeders is incredible!! If your in Florida you need to he at the state fair grounds tomorrow for Built For The Banner if I where a betting man there will be several Banners hung out of this sale. We have a set we are very proud of and an exceptional Area 51 male pig we are pumped to see where he ends up.
