This photo says a ton to me!!

We may not win every pig show there is but we win several. We may not be able to make it to a ton of jackpots as our kids are into other things at this stage in their young lives and we will support them in where their dreams take them. But one thing is sure and that is we are always striving to be better and that is what we love to see out of our customers as well!!! This picture right here is of two young ladies that I have had the opportunity to work with and see grow. While things came very natural to one and the other has absolutely poured her heart into this project they are both champions in my eyes and the eyes of others!!

I can not express how proud I am to have Aubrey driving our pigs and to see exactly how hard you have worked and how much you have grown!!!

Keep striving you will make a huge difference in the game of life!!!!

With all the kids off in sports, Derek taking on a full time job and having a mountain of sows the work load on the farm has became a big task for Taryn to handle. That being said, we are going to down size the sow herd. There will be a large amount of open gilts, a few open sows and a fair amount of bred females offered in the next week or two. Sometimes your children take a different direction as they grow forcing us to down size on the sow side a fair amount for the next few years and see what it brings. We still have very high quality young boars on feed for the summer breeding season and will continue to offer quality genetics at an affordable price in the boar stud.

This has come with great thought on what is best not only for our family, but what is best for our customers as well.
