With the snowstorm approaching this weekend, along with potential school and government closures, we figured it would be a good idea to go over our inclement weather policy again. 🌨️

In general, we follow the federal government’s closure policy*:
-If the federal government is closed, we are closed.
-If the government is open with a two-hour delay, we are open, and meals will be delivered on the regular schedule.
-If your school district is closed due to a pre-scheduled student holiday, AND weather-related closures are occurring, news media will NOT announce your district as closed. We recommend that each center have an alternate meal plan on these occasions.

*On rare occasions, when it comes to the best interest and safety of our customers, kitchen staff, and drivers, we may alter this policy. In such incidents, we make every effort to contact all customers to give them as much notice as possible.

Happy Friday! We decided to make a post about who we are and what we do because delivering meals to people's homes isn't how we started. We are a catering company located in Arlington, VA. We cook and deliver healthy meals to daycares and preschools in the DMV area.

We understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle for everyone, but especially for kids. We know that a healthy lifestyle starts young and understand how hard it can be to find healthy meals kids actually enjoy. We've spent the past 40+ years perfecting it and testing it on our own kids. We have meals kids talk about years later!

Like many families, we've been hit pretty hard by COVID-19. This year has made us think outside the box and come together as a family to stay afloat. We hope you think of our small family business this holiday season and mention our name to any daycares or preschools that may need a caterer or even just a family that would like a home-cooked meal delivered right to their door. Happy Holidays! We are so grateful for everyone's support with the Thanksgiving sides. We have decided to continue our meal deliveries throughout the holiday season. We are offering a few different things than what we offered for Thanksgiving and a few of the same! Try something new or grab the same thing the family loved last time!
