Our Story
We LOVE our Chickens and it shows! Our birds are truly living the American bird dream. Chappel Chicks Farm is Family owned and operated. When we first started it was merely a hobby. A wonderful outlet for us to escape to after a long stressful day. We Love interacting with our chickens and watching them live life free to roam in large Pastures..
Our chickens enjoy naturally grown soy-free, non-GMO feed, as well as leftover produce and anything they find to peck at in our Pasture. During the day, they roam around in open grassy pasture and forage for food (grass, weeds, seeds, and insects). At night they find warm shelter in their coops, where they sleep, roost, and lay eggs. Once they have pecked and scratched an area to their little hearts’ are content, we move them to a new location so they constantly have fresh forage. The chickens sure do help us by providing a natural means of pest control and fertilizing the ground.
You can tell that they are happy and well-fed by simply cracking open one of their eggs! They are the most delicious, flavorful, richly colored, golden-yolked eggs, period. Once you’ve had one of our pastured eggs, you won’t go back! Our chickens have the space they need to eat, live, and play in our open pastures.
Eggs are available through March-October. You are welcome to order. Our contact information is listed on our page. As you see, we are well loved in the area for our exceptional hard work we put into our Farm and customers, alike. We appreciate everyone who has visited our Farm and experienced what we like to call Chappel Chicks Haven. A true Utopia for Chickens. Appointments are required for tour of farm.
