Maple Valley Homestead Welcome to our little one-acre homestead! We raise chickens, Muscovy ducks, and Silver Fox rabbits, with turkeys and pigs making occasional appearances.

We love cooking from scratch and preserving food to nourish our family, one season at a time.

I am so happy with Ingrid's older litter! They are 12 weeks old tomorrow and out of 5, 4 are over 5 lbs!
The only one that is below the target weight is the doe that struggled with nest box eye for weeks. She's all cleared up now though!
There is even an over-achieving buck in the litter that is 6 lbs!

Progress over perfection....

Found these two in a compromising position. Unfortunately they were procreating where we needed to move out chicken tractor so we had to move them to an apartment ndisterbed area. So happy to see some natural pest control on the property!
