Texas Fungus

Ladies and gents, we've got spent substrate ready to go. About 500+ spent substrate blocks are available and the weather is fantastic.

Check our address in the profile page. You can also search "Texas Fungus" into your gps.

Reminder that these are free to the public, just show up and grab as many as you'd like. We make these every week and would hate to have to throw them away which we rarely do but if we need space, we'll have to.

These make great soil amendment and act as the carbon source for composting. After 4 to 5 weeks of turning/aerating once per week, you'll have ready to use compost.

So come on down and grab a few or a truck bed full. First Come, first serve!

Join the team if you think you've got what it takes to be a mushroom farmer.

When its hot, we're hot. When its cold, we're cold. You're guaranteed to have wet feet and you have to be able to lift 50+lbs overhead.

For the right person, this is the right job. So come jump on the train as we grow and feed our great State.

Very few of you that follow this page know of Mike Mike MushroomMan Hatfield. He's a mushroom farming veteran of about 15+ years on a small family farm in Illinois.

For those that do, you know how much he has contributed to the mushroom growing community.

When a fellow farmer is going through something terrible, its our duty to step up and step in any way that way we can.

For most of us, our wallets are thin these days but if you have an extra $10 or more to donate for Mike's recovery, every little bit helps.

Its time we show compassion and empathy for our own because we are our brother's keeper.
