Last BBQ contest of the year. Made the 7 hr trip down here to Biloxi, MS and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this RV resort is, especially with the bay views over to the casinos. Big spots with plenty of power and water—and a huge pavilion with pool and full size bar. 🤪
With the help of my nephew, Christian Ball, we were able to come away with a very respectable 4th in shoulders and 5th in ribs.
Congrats on everyone who heard their name called.
After vacuum sealing the leftovers , I think it’s time for some sleep and then the return trip to Arlington in the am and see my family 💋

Do any of my BBQ buddies out there have contacts out in the Norfolk VA area that might have access to an Ole Hickory or two that can handle 120 butts or so?
We’re feeding the men and women (and their families ) that are stationed at the Norfolk Naval Military Station on Oct 15th.
Any assistance with this contact would be much appreciated.
While you’re at it, check out the work my brother (Bradley Ball) is doing to support base personnel from coast to coast. This year he and his team will visit 30+ base and feed 1000’s.
