Just take out the milk you want to buy, then put your money in the lockbox. Please check the fridge BEFORE putting your money in the lockbox as sometimes we are sold out, and there may not be someone there to refund your money. We accept cash or checks made out to Old Silvana Creamery. Please text 425-268-7961 or email [email protected] if you have any questions.

According to the most recent testing of our Guernsey herd, we are at least 92% A2/A2. It’s probably a higher percentage than that because some of the heifers that are not in the milking herd yet have not been tested.

We also tested our Jersey herd which we had never done before and of the cows that were tested, we are at 72% A2/A2. We do have heifers and 3-5 dry cows that have not been tested. I’m very confident that all of the heifers are A2/A2 because we’ve been breeding their A2/A2 mothers to A2/A2 bulls.

We won’t label our milk A2 until we know we are 100% A2.

None of our cows of either herd tested A1/A1.

Grass hay straw bales - $30

This hay came off of a field last summer that was very ripe/headed out, which means it’s basically grass straw.
As you can see, I’m using it for bedding for my cows and young stock. They will eat some, but mostly it’s great to keep the cows dry and clean.
Once the bale is opened, the bale mostly falls apart since my baler has knives that cuts the grass as it goes into the baling chamber of my baler.
We’ve used some of it to feed our horses as well. Should be great for cattle, horses, goats, and sheep. These bales aren’t very heavy and are fairly easy to roll around.
$30 per bale

Another group of expecting, soon-to-be mamas.

We apologize to everyone for being out of milk here at the farm. We are trying to balance the milk to go for the farm and our wholesale accounts.
