Badeland Cattle Co. Ken & Kim Bade The Bade farm is located on the prairies of southern Minnesota, in Arlington. The farm has been in the the Bade family since the 1800's.

We grow corn, soybeans, wheat, alfalfa and raise beef and show cattle. We focus on Shorthorns, Angus, and South Devons, amongst other breeds. Side note from the farm-wife: I am so very proud of the time and effort and kindness my husband puts into raising his animals. Selling & showing cattle has been a special bonding experience for our little family of 3 and especially for Father & Daughter. Mac

While MYBEP heifers won’t be awarded in 2025, we’re excited for the program be back in 2026!⭐️
To make sure no one misses out, the age requirement will be adjusted to 12–17 years old for 2026 applicants. Beginning in 2027, the requirement will return to 12–16 years old. We can’t wait to bring this incredible opportunity back next year and look forward to seeing the next group of passionate youth apply!
