Black Ink Farms Our philosophy is to breed the best production quality Black Angus Bulls and Heifers so other cattle They are wintered on cornstalks and feed that we raise.

Black Ink Farms has been raising registered Black Angus cattle for over 50 years. Our philosophy has been to raise cattle for the smaller farmers that will help them raise profitable calves in their herds. At Black Ink Farms, we believe quality is bred in, not fed on. We have kept with a couple exceptions, a closed herd by keeping our own heifers through the years. We have tried to keep the herd c

ows in the average size range. The next generation is taking over the operation and has all the cattle records on the computer from early on cows. We use artificial insemination on about a third of the 225 cow herd before they go to pasture. Our sale offers the top bulls and the second cut of heifers after we have selected the ones to retain in the herd. Visitors are welcome year round!
